This indeed is the toughest time for all of us. Getting use to new normal with face masks, PPE kits and social distancing is our absolute priority. We completely understand your concerns about getting pregnant that it why we have made so many changes in our clinical environment, the way we provide treatment and also how we interact with you and each other to make sure it's as safe as possible for you having your IVF treatment at Shantah IVF Centre under the pragmatic approach of our clinic experts.
Please feel free to come for your treatment as fertility nurses get their face masks on to welcome patients. Staff and patients are responding well and taking the additional safety checks and changes to procedures in good spirit.
We will continue to offer virtual consultations and appointment with our doctors, nurses and counselors by video call or telephone. There are also some benefits to patients. We have taken the opportunity to rethink the patient journey to
reduce the number of appointments. We will only ask you to come into the clinic for vital monitoring. We can reassure you that we won’t compromise your treatment by making these changes.Maintaining proper social distancing and PPE
We will do our best to maintain social distancing wherever we can. There will be times during your treatment though when you will have to be in close or direct physical contact with members of our team. To protect you and our staff during these interactions we will be implementing a number of social distancing measures as well as the use of PPE where appropriate.
Quiet,friendly and safe
We at Shantah IVF Centre are reassuring that the clinic is dedicated fertility centre and not located in large hospital settings but in the safe and quiet surroundings. As we specialize in fertility treatment, the people we see are generally in good health. There are also fewer people on site and no visitors – all of this enables effective management. Our centre has ample parking space for visitors and a one-way system has been introduced through the buildings with hand hygiene stations throughout.
Patients will be sent a COVID-19 swab test before attending the clinic. This will be posted to you in advance while booking your appointment. We will notify you of your result ahead of your appointment. More information is available in our frequently asked questions. There will probably be lots of information to take in during this appointment, but you’ll be given the details of who to contact at your clinic if you have any further questions.
