Let’s explore what female infertility is all about


Infertility is very common word in today’s time. According to a report there are about 20 million couples suffering from infertility in India. Now let’s talk about female infertility which means when a woman is unable to conceive despite trying from one year. There are various causes of female infertility; some are direct causes and some are indirect causes.
Direct causes of female infertility are listed below:

Blocked fallopian tubes: Fallopian tubes are needed for transmitting of eggs and sperms. The tube is usually wherein woman’s egg and man’s sperm meet up to get fertilization. When there is a blockage of the tube in one area or perhaps each side, natural pregnancy is not possible. Therefore all the vital fertility checks should be carried out by the infertility specialists to find out the real reason of fallopian tube blockage before starting any infertility treatment.

There is a saying that a woman gets completed when she gives birth to a baby. Nowadays
having your own biological baby is getting difficult as lot of couples are facing infertility issues. Infertility has spread its wings all over the world. According to ICMR bulletin it is estimated that globally between 60-80 million couples suffer from infertility every year, of which probably between 15- 20 million are in India alone.

Sedentary lifestyles, so much of pollution, ease to junk food, stressed life are to be blame to infertility. Along with it fast paced life where young population runs to make their careers their priority and dreams to having a baby seem to have taken a back seat and people. Many a times we don’t know that these lifestyle issues severely affects our fertility and there by reduces the chances of conceiving naturally.
